8:30-8:45am
This is the preferred time for students to arrive at school.

Classroom doors will open and children will be able to enter their classrooms and prepare themselves for the day’s learning.
9:00am Bell to commence learning
This is the scheduled start time for teachers to commence instruction. The class roll will be marked at this time.
10:00am
At approximately 10:00am each day students will be invited to eat fresh fruit during class time. Fresh fruit is the only food that children will be able to eat at this time.
11:00am Bell to commence morning tea
The children will proceed immediately to play, then eat and calm down before returning back into the classroom.
11:40m Bell to commence learning
This bell signifies the commencement of instruction for the ‘middle session’ of the school day.
1:15pm Bell to commence afternoon lunch
The children will proceed immediately to play, then eat and calm down before returning back into the classroom.
1:45pm Bell to commence learning
This bell signifies the commencement of instruction for the ‘afternoon session’ of the school day.
3:00pm Bell to signify the end of the school day
It is expected that children remain at school up until the completion of teaching and learning at 3:00pm.
Beginning of the School Year
If for some reason your child/ren will not be able to attend school from the first day of school, please contact the school office as a matter of priority.
Class allocations and school staffing are determined by enrolment numbers at the start of the school year. Children being in attendance is vital!
Attendance at the start of the school year is essential as teaching and learning begins on the first day of the school year when critical information is covered at the commencement of units of work.
